The Workshop – So Close and Yet So Far!

This past week has certainly been a labor intensive week in the workshop. The drywall hung, taped and textured then painting was completed thanks to they guys over at Sweet Home Services in Keller, TX. Next job is to hang the beautiful Spoonflower wallpaper and install the flooring before the final move in. Now for some pictures of the transition from “Then” to “Now”.

These photos taken after the paint job was completed.  Of course, some fabrics have already found their way to the built in shelving. I couldn’t help but move something out there today.

What a Magnificent looking workshop you have created, I Love how you have shared photos of your work along process, it’ll make the final finished workshop photos that more AMAZING!! I Hope that one day I can have my own sewing space, I would LOVE to own my own fabric (I just cannot afford to do so at this time, but if I ever strike ‘er rich I will definitely own some of my Favorite fabric print’s LOLZ)..Until then I can look at other people’s sewing workshop’s and Admire them from afar. 🙂

Thanks Amber, it really is going to be smashing when all is said and done! I have to admit this is a dream come true for me…you have no idea how many sewing rooms and crafting workshops I’ve looked at on websites but my favorites are the YouTube tours. I might just do one when my shop is ready for showing . My maker space started on the kitchen table, moved to a corner of the master bedroom then into the guest bedroom which it eventually took over entirely.
